My passion to empower women in their natural ability to birth was ignited nearly thirty years ago. In 2004, Birthing Services was formed as a result of that passion fanned by education
and experience.
I provide a variety of services for expectant mothers, their partners, and family members. My services include pregnancy and postpartum support, private birth classes and consultation, as well as placenta encapsulation.

HomeI have been a doula serving the Livingston and Monroe County area since 2004. I received my certification through DONA
and Childbirth International and received doula training
through the Academy of Certified Birth Educators and Labor Support Professionals.
I received my placenta encapsulation certification in 2008 from Placenta Benefits and in 2012 received further education and training with Full Circle Encapsulation. I hold a New York State Food Handlers card and have completed Bloodborne Pathogen training through Biologix.
My experience includes both hospital and home births, caesarean and VBAC, natural and medical births. I have three daughters. My first birth was medical, the second and third were natural. I had the privilege of supporting two of my daughters in the deliveries of my nine precious grandchildren.
